It is worth remembering that if you have paid for a child seat then they are usually entitled to the same luggage allowance as an adult. Check with your airline. This could prove very useful for the return journeys in particular.:) We normally take a suitcase inside a suitcase for the outbound journey, then we have plenty of space for our purchases, always mindful of the duty free allowance though.:D

I also do the same, as when i go my cases are empty. But plenty of shopping in Florida. I believe each luggage can weigh no more then 25 kilos 50lbs.

The weight may be different according to airline, Virgin is 2 pieces each weighing up to 32KG per person. the total outer dimension must not be more than something like 62" otherwise it is classed as oversized.

Any1 flown from Manchester? + do you know what time checkin is.
thanks in advance to any 1 whom can give us any more advise on virgin fights as we've never flown virgin[msntongue][:I]:D
