Ice looked terrific Joolz, will have to try and go over when it is on, haven't managed to see it yet.[msnsmile2]
We would love to go over for christmas, but as my mother and father-in-law are still alive, I would not feel right in leaving them at christmas. my 2 brother-in-laws and their families wouldn't even think of doing anything for them. So seeing the pictures may be second best, so keep them coming.

Nice photo's, I think the tree's were the baobab trees' which only sprout leave's 'three months a year' or so the guide says on the safari. They're actually made of concrete I've heard and no-one jas ever seen leaves on it....
The Ice at Gaylord will definitely be on our list next time, especially as we actually found the Gaylord Palms entrance a couple of days before our return.
Kaz,
Remember the Christmas period starts late November so you can go, do all the Florida Christmas activities and be home for the 'real' Christmas with the Mother/Father-in-Law.:)

They start to celebrate Christmas in the US from Thanksgiving day,so you can see Christmas there and still get home for the family, then again why not take them with you for a change?

The tree at AK in the photo is a Beobab tree - they also call it an upside down tree on the tour :D
mother and father in law refuse to fly any more. It's the main reason we did not move to Florida as they wouldn't come with us.
Now we can't because of the girls exams and possible University.
Kaz.
Can't go in November, I teach in school.

Nice pictures Joolz, loved the ice ones from Gaylord Palms. I wonder if the birds on the tree are real or fake?
Great photos. I really like the ice photos and really upset that I've missed them but hopefully next Christmas[msnsmile2]
