We have family going out Wednesday and i have been keeping an eye out for the weather. It has to be low as 37f at night and only 60f through the day for next few days. It has to warm up slightly before the weekend to around mid 40s night and 70f day. This is below the normal for this time of year. Christmas is still some time off yet and it has time to warm up.

Not good, but better than here and getting warmer.
Hi Dms,
It's warmer outside than it is in the villa. I still have my AC running, which is always a good measure I think.
Yesterday was quite warm, although it is expected to cool down a bit the next couple of days and then warm up again at the end of the week.
Nights are getting a bit cooler now but they don't really start to cool down much until about 10:30 or 11:00pm I was over at Downtown Disney last night and even at 11pm it is still warm enough to roam around in a short sleeved shirt. The car's thermometer was reading well over 60 degrees on the drive back to the villa.
The big bonus regardless of temperature is that it is really bright and sunny, which always makes you feel better. You'll still be needing sunglasses, even on the cooler days.
I'm flying over Xmas Day and just praying that the temp hits 70 as its not looking too good for the week ahead. Sunny but cool. I need a tan:D[8D]

I don't like it to warm.....I'm now a hardy New Englander and to me...45 is warm weather......so the mid 60s to 70s will do me just fine......[msnsmile2]

Oh now i sooo want it to be warm as flying out Christmas Eve > Miami is 77 on 23rd so may have to take a trip down there to get some warm sun [msnsad]
The weather's great at the mo - sunny with not a cloud in the sky! It does get a little chilly in the late evening, early morning but, hey, what's that compared to T-shirt weather in the days? :)

over the christmas period, what type of clothing would you need,is it shorts,or jeans, and are jumpers a necessity.we are going on sun.and were wanting to travel light(not so light on the return journey) any ideas of a general clothing package[msnsmile2]
As long as it's sunny and warm I will be pleased. When we were over in 2001 and 2002 the weather around orlando was pretty awful VERY cold in 2001 and British type drizzle in 2002. We drove down to the Keys on Boxing Day 2002 and it was lovely and warm. Having said that when we were over Christmas 1990 it was in the 90's it seems that it has got colder over recent years.

The weather is damn chilly at the moment and is forecast to be so all week long. We have to wear cardi's and Jeans, and put the heating on.

Not due to visit 'till half-term (end of Feb). Will I need thermals? Can I swim in the pool without excess rubberwear? P.s. only understand C not F!!!!!

any 1 know what the weather/Sunlight hrs are for the month of March? Plus the real daylight hours if you know them; Time&Date.com say's 10hrs where as other sites say 8hrs of daylight.
Not sure what time the sun rises but in March the sun tends to start going down about 5 to 6ish. They don't change the clocks in Florida until the week after the UK.
