Hurray - this sunset I can post to the photos forum.

Brizzle, I need your views on this. Personally I think that this sunset wasn't as nice as the one last week. On a scale of 1 to 10 where last week's was a 10, I think I would rate this one as a 6 or a 7. What do you think?

Tonight's isn't shaping up too well. There's too much thick cloud around. It has a bit of promise but I don't think it will be a classic.

It's different to last week, but it's stunning.

I can spend hours looking at clouds etc, I find it relaxing. Love sunrise and sunset the best thought.

Keep posting, [8D]

It's still stunning Steve but I agree, last weeks had more texture in the cloud cover so gave it more of an upside down terrain feel.

I'd never seen a more stunning one like last weeks so that still wins.

I'd say those are more an 8 though ;)

It's all planning Andy, and making sure you are in the right place at the right time. After missing the sunset last week I stalked Highlands for the best spot to capture the next one. I had to bob to the airport on Thursday morning so only had the afternoon at MGM. I had one eye on the sky and decided to make a break for it after the Beauty and the Beast show.

I have a theory that there is a law of nature that requires a photographer to endure all kinds of personal discomfort to capture a good shot. The better the photograph, the more discomfort is involved. I forgot to have a spray of deet before taking these and got bitten to death by the mozzies. I've been itching for days. [msncry]
