Has anyone got any info about Wakiva Springs, Blue Springs and Silver Springs. Anything would be appreciated, we are thinking about doing a different day out on our next trip. Thanks.

Us too - great day out and very different to the normal theme park days a lot of people do in Orlando [msnsmile2]

Same here; Silver Springs is one of the best 'alternate' days out in Central Florida. Depending on where in the Orlando area you are staying, it is a good 90 to 120 minutes drive and an early start is recommended.

We have been to Wakiva springs and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a very nice picnic and certainly recommend a visit to this park.

Wekiva Springs is fantastic, some good snorkelling in the spring head, the pool is around 120feet in diameter with hundreds of small fish.

The park itself is huge with a great amount of varied wildlife, we spent a very enjoyable day here and would definately recommend a visit.

One thing I would do before you visit any of the state parks is give them a ring the day before to see if any parts of the park are closed.
