This falls on Sunday March 6th in the UK this year as it is originally a christian day ie the 4th sunday of lent.
This hasn't been the same day in the US in the past ie last year it was in May in the US.
Does anyone know if March 6th is Mothers Day in the US and if so does this mean that Parks and Restaurants will be busy?
It's always in May in the US - in 2005 it will be 08 May.

Do you know how much trouble I get into with my mother because she does not get a card in March.....[msncry][msncry]
I had to remember to buy an extra one in May a few years ago and not lose it......so I have one for the English mothers day.....
Tell me about it! I usually manage to be in Florida in May and get stung twice! Still, I suppose she's worth it! :)

I don't know my real mother and usually get something for my Mum-in-law (who's been like a mother to me over the years) something on Mother's Day. Since I am not Christian, I don't suppose it matters?
