Hi
We are thinking of going to see Cirque du Soleil whilst in florida next year (between 25 June - 7 July).

Would it be best to book tickets in advance or would we be safe to go along a few days prior and book the tickets. Has anyone done this. Also are any seats better than others.

Many thanks

Hi Karen,

It's definitely better to book tickets in advance as they are alawys busy and often sell out a week or two in advance during the summer. You can also get the best seats by booking in advance.

There are 3 categories of tickets I think, with the best seats not surprisingly being the most expensive.

If you want the absolutely best seats try to get reasonably central and about 5 or 6 rows back from the stage. The stage is elevated and the seats right on the front couple of rows put your eyeline at stage level. The seats about 6 rows back are just perfect.

There is a mild amount of audience participation. If you don't like the sound of this try to book your seats in the middle of a block. If you don't mind being under the spotlight and having all the audience giggle along with you get a block of seats on an aisle.

It's an awesome show. Don't hesitate. Book it now.

You can buy tickets at the Orlando Park Tickets link at the top of the page. You then phone up and book your own seats for the day/time to suit you.

I would advise booking seats in the centre section, but further back in the auditorium, just beyond the entrance walkway.

Because a lot of action takes place in the air, it's nice to see an overall view, rather than be straining your neck to look upwards.

In truth however, there isn't really a bad seat in the house, apart from the widest extremities.

But definitely book early, especially for the time you are visiting. There is a Cirque web site where you can book on line and collect the tickets from the box office on the evening of your performance.

We cannot praise this show highly enough... it will blow your socks off !!!:)

When booking on line do you know if you are able to specify which seats you would like?

Thanks to you all for your replies.

Yes Karen you can choose your seats and show times.

There is a large seating plan to assist you.

Choose the "will call" option to collect your tickets from the box office.

Hi Karen,
I have been to Cirque 6 times now and have always chosen the central upper blue section of seating. This gives you a perfect view of every aspect of the show. The lower red section is always booked 6 months in advance at peak times, but I don't see that there is a great difference in the view you would have. This is a magnificent show, not to be missed. I cannot praise it highly enough. As you can see by the amount of times I have been, a further 2 visits next year too, it never gets boring. I spot something I haven't seen on previous occasions, everytime I go. I LOVE IT.[msnsmile2]

This is one show that I really want to see. We don't go until next June but I am already getting everything planned like a military exercise. I have looked at the seating plan and also feel that the centre blue section would be an ideal place to sit.
It certainly must be good if you have been to see the show so many times:D

I can recommend it too - for all ages. If you want to get an idea before you go have a look at the Cirque du Soleil Website which has clips. They cant do the show justice, as cant just one visit, but it does give you an idea![clap]
