Okay folks, we need info on Universal at New Year. We've decided this is the place we want to be and we know we need to get there, say, mid afternoon to avoid the great rush and also to be able to strong it out until midnight. Recommendations on everything please would be appreciated - tips on getting there, best place to eat, and where to stand for the fireworks. We are five adults (although my daughters are only 20 ) and my little boy who is five.

I'd try universals own website for info.
I would have thought that on that day, no matter when you go it will be busy. So leaving it until mid afternoon may cause you some problems if you want to go on the rides etc.
Although I do hear that Universal is quieter than Disney during this period.
Hope you have a fantastic time!

Universal have 'David Lee Roth' appearing at Universal City Walk and have a gourmet buffet of over 60 items, party favors, a champagne toast and much more!
