Can anyone tell me.....How long does it take to 'do' ICE without rushing round?

Is it better to go evening or day time?

We have booked to have the buffet at Gaylords on Christmas eve - does anyine know if we have access to the rest of the resort for a look around?

Do they have sand sculptures in the winter too?
Is there anything else we should really not miss at gaylord palms??

We went to Ice last week, knowing it can get busy in the evenings we tried it one morning around an hour after it opened, we spent around 40 minutes going around the display the another hour in the hotel,There where very few people in at that time and we could get onto thinhgs like the horse without queing.

I would not like to stay much longer in their as it was so cold (7degrees F)

We did not see the sand display.
