Thinking of buying hubby a portable DVD player as a surprise for Christmas. Someone has recommended Shinco 1720. Has anybody any experience with this model? Will buy it in the UK for correct power leads etc.
Hi Mo
Have no experience of the Shinco but can highly recommend the Hitachi PDV302. We got this approx 6 months ago and it's great, small, light with a good picture quality. Worth looking at to see what you think.

Thanks Chris, I will have a look at it. Hubby has to stay away overnight quite a lot at the moment so thought it was something to help spend the evnings when there is nothing on TV.

We have had a cheap one for about 18 months, dragged it all over. In the car, on planes every where. I t was great this last weekend when the plane blew out a tyre and we had an 8 hour delay. Guess I'm saying they are worth having but get an extra power pack if you can.
