can dvd's bought in the uk be used in american dvd players?

No we in the Europe use a different region setting, I think you can download software and use them on a computer.

No, you need a PAL player to play UK DVD's and as far as i am aware NTSC can't be coverted to PAL like PAL ones can be converted to NTSC. What player you got?

If you can set the DVD player to play any region it will play any DVD's. Our son bought a portable DVD player from Radio Shack and they showed him how to get into the settings menu to change it to region 0.[msnsmile2]

YES you can, E-bay sells for $50 a player. I just got myself one 5 mins ago. IT will convert UK DVD's to play on ANY US TV.

Little Britain on DVD now in the USA thanks to this new toy.

I've just been watching Steptoe and Son......I find a lot of films are still cut about even on DVD in the USA....which I hate......

Just had a look on Ebay you can buy them both in the us and uk thank's for that.[msnsmile2]
