I'm sorry to keep coming on here with sad news.

He was sporting hero and favourite of many, and fondly remembered for his antics on a Q of S, especially with Princess Anne.

Such a lovely fella, my condolences to his wife and two chidren, and the rest of his family.

With the losses of recent weeks I have had to find something to smile about....so I am imagining the formidable quiz team in heaven with Emlyn, Fred Dibnah, John Peel and Brian Clough.

A true gent of Football, I had the pleasure of watching "Crazy Horse" lead Liverpool in many of their great matches at Anfield.
At least he and Shanks can sort out the world of fooball together now.
God bless Emlyn [msncry]

Just heard on the news, how terribly sad, and still so young too. I am sure Emlyn will be well remembered by many. God Bless.
