You can never gaurantee weather, but why not just keep a track of the weather forecast on weather.com for the next week or so to see what it is like.

We like it at this time of year as it is usually nice, not too hot, not too cold and usually dry...fingers crossed for next week[msnwink]

We were there the end of Nov last year, the weather was brilliant, we spent one day at Blizzard Beach and got burnt and because it is after thanksgiving all the stores had sales, up to 70% off so I got the xmas shopping done as well!!!

Hi Scuba

Welcome to the forum!

November is a great time to go to Florida (like any other time really!) with warm days of around 75 - 80F but slightly chillier evenings and very little rain normally. If you can avoid Thanksgiving (25 November this year) when the parks tend to be busy for the week, you should find no problems at all.

Have a great time!

We were over the first 2 weeks of november last year. Weather in Orlando and on the Gulf was excellent. T shirts and shorts but not tooooooo hot.

We've just come back from Florida today, and the weather has been glorious for the last two weeks - weather front changed on the day we flew back - 5th November - and temperatures dropped slightly during the day and were due to be a little chillier in the evenings, but still clear blue skies, t-shirt weather during the day and perhaps warmer wear in the evenings (especially with the air con in the restaurants). Rain was virtually non-existant and none forecast for the next week or so(we had 10 minutes rain in two weeks). Even though the temps dropped to 70's on our last day (mid to high 80's before then),it was still warm enough to sunbathe on the deck and catch some last rays before flying back to wet Britain.

When we don't have to consider school hols etc we will definitely be visiting later in November. As Blott says, any time is a good time to visit Florida [msnsmile2]

At the moment, the weather is absolutely gorgeous. Today gas been the best day, 78 degrees, sun in an unbroken blue skym wonderful. Like the nicest day of an English summer. The only thing is it is starting to get to be cardy time at night. By the end of November the days are still good but the nights are chilly.

Hi Scuba,
Welcome the forum! November is an excellent time to go. I myself cannot bear extreme heat and find November to be wonderfully comfortable! It does get cool in the evenings as Julie says, but when you're out it's easy to grab a jacket or sweater and when you're staying back at the villa, the heated pool feels heavenly! Also, the parks will not be very crowded which is another great reason to consider this time of year. Happy planning!

We travelled over on the 27th Oct last year and the weather in Orlando was fabulous.

Gorgeous through the day and still warm enough on an evening to wear shorts and a T-Shirt.

Great time to go!!

Especially if you are thinking of Thanks Giving aswell!!

You'll love it!!

We were staying at our villa on the Gulf Coast last year for the last week November, first week December last year. Had a couple of nights when we needed a sweater but on the last night sat outside by the pool at 10pm with shorts and t-shirts.

Took home a suitcase full of Christmas pressies we bought in the sales.

Hi ... November is the best time to go .... been 2 times before in Nov' and for the deals that are on in the parks which are in comparison EMPTY.. like 2-4-1 etc and the Thanksgiving sales you cant beat it.
Ive had 2 convertables in Nov' and had the roof down most of the time... possibly a little chilly in the morning & eve's but who cares if youve got a CONVERTABLE !!! lol [msnwink] Hardly any rain at all... thats why im going back for 3 weeks on the 20th Nov (next week!)

You'll have a great time whenever you go Scuba!! Enjoy!

Are there sales in Florida before or after Thanksgiving? We were there last November but I was pregnant at the time so a little forgetful and can't remember?!!! We have been to New England several times during November before the Florida bug, and there the sales were both before and after.

Been in November twice now. Its nice and warm (low to mid 70's) but not scorching hot. Its good because you are comfy walking round the parks. As soon as the sun starts to go down (about 5pm) it goes dark and cool very quickly. If you are still going to be out at that time make sure you take a light jumper or long sleeved t-shirt.

The day after Thanksgiving (Friday) is known as black Friday. The sales start at around 5 or 6 am and everywhere is absolutely heaving so you need to sharpen your elbows! We parked in Best Buy car park once and watched two police cars trying to sort out the traffic jam whilst keeping one eye on the hundreds of trollies piled high with boxes coming out of the store. Seriously, you'll have to move yourselves early that day or risk not being able to get anywhere near any stores!

We went shopping on the Saturday after 'black Friday'. First time we have ever had to search for a parking space at a Florida Mall! Still an amazing amount of bargains but stores comfortable to walk around so not sure where all the people were. Came out loaded with bags of Christmas pressies, trainers 2 for 1 etc to find golf-buggies to take people back to cars. It could only happen in Florida!

As much as I love to take my daughter to Florida( she has been a lucky girl, and been a lot!)every time I read a post about a certain time of year, I so wish we could go then! November sounds just perfect for me, not too humid, rare down pours, and SALES too!! Oh I do love the all year round opportunities that Florida offers! Shame at the moment we have to follow the school hoidays, Ho Hum! Anytime it seems is Florida time [8D]:D[8D]

Have we made a big mistake

Have we made a big mistake??? we are going over on the 22nd of this month for 10 days. It will be the first time we have seen our villa snce we closed and we need to get all those extra's plus we are taking my sister for her first visit, so she will need to do the parks. Is this going to be possible? Help i'm having nightmares after reading about Thanksgiving and crowds.

If you avoid the stores on Black Friday as well as Saturday and Sunday, you'll be fine! People will be back to work and school by Monday or Tuesday and the stores will be manageable once again!
