View Full Version : Best place for shopping
Where is the best place to shop to get the best prices on clothes/trainers etc and where are these places located. It is 6 years since we last visited Orlando so I am sure there must be some new places for me to shop [msnwink]
Hi Karen
Premium Outlet Mall, just off International Drive (going north from the 192) is a great place to shop for bargains, so is Belz at the end of International Drive, by Oak Ridge rd, but it is looking a little jaded.
Lots of shops have sales, such as JC Penney, etc. and these can be found in the Florida Mall, and the Mall at Millenia (a lovely new mall with plenty of places to eat, too - its just near Belz, turn right into Oak Ridge Rd and then turn first left over the bridge into Millenia Blvd, you can't miss it, it's on your right - they always advertise sales on the TV.
Forget about the parks - just shop 'till you drop!
Hope you have a great time.

Lake Buena Vista outlets on the 535{?}..I'm hopeless with road numbers, somebody will correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway Reebok at LBV has fantastic deals on trainers at the moment.
Like Ellie, we also love Orlando Premium Outlets. Very stylish I think. Happy shopping Chloe
I would also agree that Lake Buena Vista Outlet is the best. Better than Belz, as this has tended to deteriorate in the last couple of years. We have found some bargins in the shops on the 192 as well.

There are innumerable shopping outlets of all kinds in and around Orlando and 'the best' depends on what you are looking to buy. But overall, I agree that the Orlando Premium Outlets Mall is very good for upscale bargains ie finding quality goods at reasonable prices. Florida Mall and the two Belzes are also worth checking out.

Buy the Orlando Sentinel to keep up with dales and on friday for a "whats on"section
That's right just off i-drive south I buy running trainers here they cost around £110.00 in the uk. But $60.00 in the outlets.
Reebok are good but go to world of denim first and get a coupon and you'll get 10% off, and the other way around get a coupon at Reebok and so on.:D

We are in orlando at the moment. Both Beltz and Premium are good for shopping but even better when the sales are on. No sales at present but compared to the prices in the UK most things are alot cheaper.
The best factory outlets are Premium, newer than Beltz and they also have some more designer stores. However we always visit Beltz and they do sometimes have better prices than Premium. For Mall shopping the Florida Mall has something for everyone and like already said when the sales are on the shops in the mall are great - department stores. Everywhere is nice to go at this time of year. Can't wait to see what the Christmas tree looks like at the Mall at Millenia!
Happy shopping!!!
Don't forget Wal-Mart and Target for the bargains too!!!!![msnwink]

My fave place is Lake Buena Vista.
I like the fact that you can shop-and come outside for a little sit in the sun-more difficult at the mall-and at premium you are nearly always in the shade.
I think this is where the best Gap is as it is an outlet. I also love Karacter Korner for the Disney souvenirs-I'm almost on first name terms with the lady behind the counter. It's great for Disney clothing, soft toys, cups, plates and rubber stamps! I almost have a collection to rival Stamp Cabana-but at their prices Ijust cannot resist them.
Also there is Old Navy another subsidiary of Gap, Nine West for shoes, Wamsutta-bedding,perfume outlet, OshKoshbyGosh or whatever-oh yes and Carters-baby clothes to die for. Then there's KB Toys, Liz Claiborne, Vitaminworld for your melatonin, and a lovely little (expensive)coffee shop-and so much more.
We usually manage two to three visits on a trip!

If you are staying off the 192 (Lindfields, Rolling Hills area etc)-turn up International Drive South at Xentury City(this is just the words on a wall) it's about marker 8 and then carry on all the way up-till you come to a T junction.
Turn right and get straight into the left hand lane-then turn left when you see the signs.
If you are nearer Walmart end of 192 at around marker 11 there's a turn off on the right for the 535 and it's just up that road on the right.
You can also turn off the Osceola Pky at either at Gaylord Palms(junction 3 I think and carry on left up I Drive south as above) -and I also think that there is a 535 turn off on the OP.
