Okay guys,
Forum names - some are obvious, some are not. How did you come about yours?
For me MTP is named after the cat and I have used it as a log on since I started using the internet, unfortunately when I now register for sites invariably it is gone (as most 3 letter usernames have) or you need a longer name for security reasons.
Our cat is called Merry, therefore Merry The Puss.

I chose mine for TWO reasons. The spaceship from one of my favourite sci-fi movies - ALIEN, and one of my favourite books by Joseph Conrad. :)
Of course, forgot the mining ship was the Nostromo.
Well done on the 5* ranking, can't believe we started posting about the same time! Just shows what taking a sabbatical does to your posting rate!
Just been really stupid, but have realised why the mining ship was called the Nostromo

Mines been my name on the net for years......I use it on most sites...........chrissy was a name given to me by my best friend....now long dead.........it always reminds me of him .......:D:)

Is your Mum a Mandy too, so you were called Ditto?
Needed an online name when first getting on the intermaweb, and decided on Brizzle which is how it sounds when I say where I'm from 'I be from Brizzle, me babber' translated to 'I hail from Bristol my good man'.

Mine is my hubby's employee number MM69340- the MM stands for MassMutual.
He has a tendency to not remember things- so we use this as a username so he can log on without thinking. I usually use glickletsmom

I invented mine because I was fed up with my old user name being stolen. I use it all the time, so It's most likely me if you see it.
I have just done a quick Google and it looks like it may have some meaning but to me it is just a user name that is not used by anyone else.[msnsmile2]
I changed mine to skippy because my husband calls me that after the kangaroo and I am always tutting.

Just First & middle name[msneek]But, was used because I joined the forum after we returned from Florida this year, and over there if anyone sees my passport( hotels, Immigration etc), thety always say " Have a good Day CAROLANN!" Always sounds like I am one of the Waltons too:)My family then spend the rest of the trip and a few weeks after we return, calling me just that!![:P]
