Hi we are waiting for our visas to come through any time now. Can anyone tell me if we can check up to see how far down the line we are? Its so frustrating waiting!!!

Your attorney may be able to tell you. The embassy posts processing times along the lines of now we are now dealing with applications received on 30th August. Someone said you can find it yourself on the embassy website but I have never been able to locate it. Anyone?
The only date I have seen is the one for I-130 applicants

A friend of our is in exactly the same situation (visa submitted and waiting for outcome) and as far as I know he has a tracking number which he can check the progress online. Speak to whoever prepared he documents and helped you submit application they should be able to point you in the righ direction. Good luck![msnsmile]

When you visited the U.S. Embassey and paid for your envelope they would have given you a sheet of paper which has a tracking number printed on it. You log on to the couriers web site and it gives you a status report. Pending, in transit etc etc.

As of today, 29th Oct, the Embassy in London is currently working on visa aplications received prior to 11th Aug.
Where are you getting the date from, Helen??

Just had email from my visa consultant. Currently working on visas submitted first week sept. They are looking at ours coming through in 2 weeks (ours was sub 23rd Sept) and good news is there is no delay for the interview coming through in around a week.
Hope this is good news for anyone like myself waiting for our visas.

Really praying we will fly out around 10th Dec if all goes well. Getting nervous and excited now. So much to do here and there!! Been looking into flights Virgin are not bad at all. We dont really want a package deal as we have a lease on a 3 bed apartment for 1 year which starts on 7th Dec so fingers crossed.
This is a great site and have had lots of questions answered.
