Remember, you don't need a scanner to turn your real photo's into digital ones if you now have a digital camera.
Just use your digital camera to photgraph the old film photo's...
et voila instant digital negatives of your old photo's.

Nice pics by the way :).

good idea brizzle.....[clap][clap]

I was in vegas last year and in 4 days took about 150 digital photos. i now have two massive memory cards for my camera, so imagine the amount i can take this year!

Hope this site has enough bandwidth for all the good ones!

We have just arrived back from travelling around the States and drove from Vermont to Florida taking in Niagara, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans and many more places - it was fab. However I dropped my camera down the loo in Heartbreak Hotel when we went to Gracelands so the photos are not much cop after that - the camera is still away being repaired [msnsad] - we had a great month away though. The best part was ending up in our own villa and chilling for a week before travelling back to the UK.

I know what you mean, I took 900 photo's in two weeks last December [msneek], mainly because they are digital so you're not wasting film.

This year I have a new 1Gb card (+ 256Mb back-up) so I think I may need CD's to burn back ups before I return. Uh-oh.
The 1Gb card can hold 500 photo's at best quality so the potential days haul is frightening.

Oh and I go for three weeks this time. 500 photo's a day x 21 [msnscared].

I am lucky, i have a 20Gb iPod.

there is a contraption that you can buy for it, in which you load your memory card, and then coonect it to the iPod. After all a iPod is a mini hard drive anyway. this device then transfers your digital photos to the ipod and when you come home you can just unload them onto your PC.

I have 10Gb of space left on my ipod as well... and it the average picture is 5Mb (top quality) that is roughly 2048 photos! double if i lower the quality as well![msnwink] fantastic!

thats on way to bore the relatives when you get back! 2,000 photos from a holiday they haven been on!

My theory is 'percentages'
If I take 1000 photo's then I have a good chance that I might end up with at least 50 good ones :D
