Just returned from 3 weeks in Florida the first ten days of which were spent at Carla`s beautiful home at Thousand Oaks, the setting is truly magnificent with easy access to I4 at Champions Gate and all the Disney parks within a ten minute drive, Arrived just prior to Jeanne but thanks to Alison the manager of the management company who lives next door we had no worries, emergency wind up lighting and radio were provided along with welcome pack which was appreciated, Thanks again to Alison and to Carla for allowing us to enjoy her fantastic villa which we can highly recommend to anyone.

will post a trip report when I come back down to earth.

Me neither. Love hearing about the trips and seeing the photos - it helps to stem the pangs until I get out there again myself.

Thank you very much Lorraine (my Hurricane Jeanne guest) and Lucy (my Hurricane Charlie guest).

I'm glad that you all had a wonderful time and you both did a terrific job of looking after yourselves and my home during some pretty inclement weather!!!!![msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

Brilliant guests, both of you. [msnsmile2][msnsmile2][clap][clap]

I'll be sure to pass your lovely comments on to Alison.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

What a difference in the light compared to the previous blue sky photos!

Lovely pics from both of you. AMF's pics must have been taken from my upstairs Master. Wow, it looks more like a choppy sea than a lake. I've never seen the water so grey, or so high. AMF's first picture is of my neighbour's garden and usually there is more land at the end, and those thin trunked trees are not in water at all!!!
