Dont know if anyone can help but my parents friends are coming with us at christmas and they are a little worried about something they got finger printed out there about 12 years ago.

They went for a green card through friend of a friend and was entered into a 'amnaisty' but they had never lived there so had to make up a few porkys to try and get in. However they got found out by the embassy and told 'no dont believe you'. So they took their finger prints and left the building (so to speak)this was the last they have heard of it and been back many times but are worried as since they have started finger printing at customs that they may have theirs and ask them lots of questions and maybe even refuse them entry.

Any advice on this would be helpful. thanks

Are you saying that they were refused a visa to enter the USA at that time? If so, that's one of the criteria for not being able to use the visa waiver system so they would have to get visas.

No they wasnt refused at all, they left the embassy and carried on with their holiday and been back many times. I think because we all have to have our finger prints done now they just worried it will pick them up[confused]
