Alternativly, you can use any photo that is web based (with the consent of the owner). And if it isn't on the web and you have a photo, upload it to your personal web space any ISP provide free, or you can use villa tools.

Right click on it, go to properties, cut the URL. Then go to your profile and paste it in the avatar section.
