In the US what would the meaning of the word extinguished be in the legal context:

All other liens are extinguished.

My reading is all other liens are nullified. Anyone else agree?

Well I thought so too! But our HOA are paying for a meeting with the lawyer to establish that that is what he meant in his letter.
