We plan to buy the 7 day park hopper plus tickets and know we will not use them all but will keep them for the next time (as we know there WILL be a next time). My son is 8 for this visit, can anyone advise what happens to his unused days when he will be 9 next time. Will I be better buying him an adult ticket now and if so can he use an adult ticket this time being only 8.

Child tickets are valid before the 10th birthday, and that's why they are categorised as 3-9 years. My niece was 3 months short of her 10th birthday when we went this spring and she was able to use child tickets.

Thanks Nostromo

Can I be a pest and ask what would happen if we cannot go until he is 10 as there is possibility of this.

Legally, he would then need an 'adult' ticket and if I were you, I would stick to the rules, ridiculous as they are.

As far as I know you should take the ticket to Guest Services at the park and get it upgraded to an adult ticket.
