We've been mostly the last Friday of Sept into October (so ticked that one), but have been May and November as well.
And this next time we are going Dec for Chrimbo.

Enjoyed them all and would like to try every month on behalf of the forum and report back any differences found.

We have been 5 times and all over the calendar. I think October is the best month on its own, followed by mid-April (after Easter) to mid-May. We avoid July and August.

Why do you like Oct so much?
I am off there on the 22nd and have never travelled at this time of year before. Not too worried about the theme parks as it is mainly business and maybe a little "light" shopping but I would like to think that the weather is going to be nice.[msncool]

I like October, but not this year.
May is very good quiet and we got deals on the annual passes 2 years for the price of 1

We like to go for 3-4 weeks and are tied by school hols so it has to be July/August, in the past we have been in Feb, March, April, May and October!

October gives you a combination of very good weather ([b]usually not too hot, plenty of sunshine, low chance of rain) and moderate crowds. Even this year, the locals might have completed the clearing-up after the recent storm damage in 3 weeks from now. Have a great time. :)

We used to go during the school holidays but don't have to now. We prefer the period September through end of June.

We usually go Oct-Nov. As has been said before, there is a low chance of rain and the weather is nice and sunny but not too hot.
Even so its still warmer than the summer weather in the UK.
We are going at Easter next year, eldest daughter is into her last years of school.

Interesting to see most people travel in spet-oct, but when you go to the parks in july, they are very crowded.

Think as most of us have been before we tend to avoid the summer hols.

The height of summer does get one a little moist under the collar, and I feel very sorry for the poor residents and vacationers who were without the a/c for days and days this hurricane season, but any time is a good time to be in FLA in my book.

There was only a two week difference in the times we have been, but the weather was quite different!!

4-18th November, lovely and warm, not horrible sweaty weather, just really nice, never needed a fleece, cardy or whatever

24oct - 7 November, first week was 88 degrees approx, much warmer but still nice not like our british muggy heat, 2nd week cooled down to 78 degrees approx so quite a difference between them.

In respect of the rides, first week the longest queue was for Tower of Terror which was only 15 mins.

2nd week, the only queues were for Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad, which I suspect are always popular

Only ever had one day of rain, but boy did it rain, didn't really stop all day, we were in AK so just did all the wet rides didn't really dry off all day, not too comfortable in hindsight!!

We have been in January once, that was great because the parks were so quiet. We could literally walk straight on with no queing. The weather was still good though, the day we left, the car was showing 92 degrees, it may have been a few degrees less than that, but damn good when you think of the weather we have here in the UK in Jan!

Have been going at Christmas for the past few years due to being tied to school holidays. Again weather has been pretty good, the atmosphere has been amazing! Would definitely recomend going at Christmas! Its great seeing all the Florida houses decorated so beautifully at night, you can get 'snow' at the parks, the only down side is that the parks are heaving!!

We usually visit twice a year and always for Christmas.
My Dad is self-employed and never works at this time of year so it is good for us. My son is will start school in 2 years time so then we will be tied to the school holidays.

But there is not one!!

So I chose May to June!

Love it at all times of the year!!

Have to go July/August as I work in school and this is the only time I can take a full 2 week break, before this we always went in April which was much nicer both for weather and less crowded (just avoid Easter)
