hello people ,just got back from Florida and anyone who read my post about visiting memphis and graceland will probably be happy to see we made it there, all i can say is brilliant Beale street was absolutely awesome the variety of food and musical taste was endless.we went to sun studio in memphis and the wife held the actual microphone Elvis used (I think she was just holding it[msnwink]). But The obvious highpoint was Graceland its a very long time since I have seen my wife cry[msncry] but they Were a mixture of joy and sadness .so my best regards to all who gave me advice and there knowlegde regarding this trip 'thank you very much'. Elvis Has Not Left The Building'[msncool]

Great pictures Mike. I have long wanted to visit Memphis and Graceland - lets hear more about your trip. Might get to do it next year if I can resist the lure of Florida :)

Knew you'd enjoy it. The "garden of rest" is very moving isn't it.
We love Beale Street. Would have bought a house in Memphis if it was warmer;)Did you go on the Steamboat down that lovley muddy river? We liked BB Kings place to. We also went into a really run down diner on Beale Street, where the toilet door was a shower curtain! The food was fantastic and they jazz band were so cool, I loved our week in Memphis. We stayed in the Wydham and can certainly recommend it.
