This is a spider from a pool screen, the colours are excellent on the higher res photo, hope they turn out ok on this lower res post.
The spider was over 3 inch from toe to toe, so to speak.
Does anybody know what its called and wether its venomous??

We have a similar picture taken a couple of years ago. Informed it was nothing more than a common garden spider. We had seen it at cape canaveral and had thought it eas something more exciting.

We find them all the time at work, usually Huntsman Spiders. (In Banana's)
Although we did find a young Tarantula last week.
I know these things are good for your garden but eeeeerrrrrrrrr
Real phobia about spiders!!

Not my favourite creature I must say
