Great family restaurant at various locations along the 192 (there's one on the corner of the Poinciana Blvd turning) - try their Cajun chicken or salmon. Fabulous gateaux or pie for dessert or there's always that ice cream sundae beckoning!

And some of them are 24hr ones. So when you come out of a theme park in the winter months, cold and wet and hungry, it's a great place for a toastie and a hot cup of coffee or chocolate. I say toastie, please note it comes with a plate of chips as well!

Great discounts for Seniors to dine, often run out of season offers.

Here, like Shoneys, you can buy the full pie to take home. Pecan Pie is wonderful.

We prefer the French silk or coconut cream pies and, as they're only around $6-8 for the whole pie, if there's a few of you, they are a good take away deal. Even if there's only a few of you, they keep well in your rental home fridge.

Just had breakfast at Perkins this morning - never been there before.

I had the most beautiful omelette I've ever had and will definitely be going back (at least several times). What a lovely find....we've driven past so many times and am now really glad we have tried it [msnsmile].

We also go there all the time as our home is very close. Their portions are huge and very tastey. Kids also get a free cookie with any child meal.

Hi

There is a Perkins on US27, if you are heading South on US27 (towards Southern Dunes), it is on the RHS just after passing the I4 junction.

we ate at the perkins on the 27 and found the main course really awfull and the service very poor, being British, of course we said nothing. However the choice and quality of the dessert was fantastic. They have a take away counter for the cakes and pies which was very popular with both locals and tourists.

We wnet to the Perkins on 192 along by Tony Romas, had a great meal, service excellent, and very reasonably priced. Have not tried the one on US27, although it is only 5 minutes from our villa. We have suggested that this should be the place to eat the day we arrive, and then just crash out at the villa. We send details of Perkins to our guests for their arrival if they do not want to go far, or cook the first day.

I love Perkins!! The last time we were there I was absolutely dying of a cold with a horrible sore throat and could hardly talk (much to husbands relief!!). The very kind waiter obviously felt sorry for me and went to the kitchens and made me up some hot honey and lemon to drink which I thought was very sweet. He got a generous tip ;)

There is another really nice on a bit further along the 192 on the left just past Medieval Times if that's any help.

We had breakfast at the one on the 27 but it was extremely slow service. May have just been a bad day but will try dinner there next time.
