OK, it won't win any awards for being swish, its high class clientele nor for its cordon bleu cooking but it's good for a hot snack or a light supper. Omelettes are usually really good as are, of course, the waffles. Try the eggs, grits toast and apple jelly for a bit of a change! You'll find lots of locals eating here!

I never understood why they ate here. I will always give things a second try just to make sure I was right in the first place - didn't like omelettes or the waffles - never tried grits in my life but wouldn't go again - fairly tasteless fatty food. Just my opinion, everyone has different tastes.
If you've never tried grits, you've never lived is all I can say. They're as American as apple pie! They make a nice accompaniment to an omelette and a less fatty alternative to all those French fries which abound everywhere.
