Has anyone tried Bob Evans ? We love it. There is one on the 192 just opposite the Nikki Bird Hotel lovely Food and very reasonably priced. Lots of Americans eating there.

Yes, I like them too. There is a good one on 27 in the complex near Baseball City. Good place for breakfast or brunch and really well priced. Aways lots of Americans in there and that is the test.

I recommend the Chicken Pot Pie in Bob Evans. Its really good.

My daughter says Bob Evans is always full of old people. I think its because they do discount for the over 55's

The desserts are good too especially the banana pie!

We ate at Bob Evans and it was very nice. I had the chicken pot pie as recommended by Julie. The food was very homely.

We go the Bob Evans on the 27 near the I4 junction (Haines City) - they do excellent breakfasts especially the French toast<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>

Caroine or Julie?

Does Bob Evans do traditional type food, meat and veg etc. Spoke to a lady at Typhoon Lagoon with a disable son and he would only eat here as very fussy about food - or am I confused? What do they serve for breakfast?

Wasn't at all impressed with Bob Evans. Thought the service was slow and the food well lets not even go there![msnsad]

Agree fully with Hayter. Have only been once...never again. Food order when eventually arrived was wrong ...waited again it was cold and partly uncooked. Waitress was really sorry but the management did not care less.. Mike was poorly next day!![msnsad][msnsad]

Name reminds me (know not as last part is different) of a pet product supplier!!

Been a couple of times to the one on the 27 and have to say thought it was great value. Perhaps not great surroundings and I was a bit sceptical but would go back defintely. Have included on our guests lists for places to eat.

We have eaten at Bob Evans on the 27 and on way back to Sanford Airport on Lake Mary Blvd. Both times thought the food and service were excellent, especially like the strawberry lemonade and the different types of bread, biscuits served with the meal.

The one that we visited was right by our villa on the US27 and we all commented on how dirty it was. The table we were sitting at was right by a curtain divider and this was really dirty and put us off our meal, when it eventually arrived. Probably because the meal took so long to arrive, we had along time to sit and scrutinise the restaurants interior.
