As far as I know, the only specialised viewing area for Epcot Illuminations is for disabled visitors near the American Adventure pavilion. I know this to my cost because I accidentally stood in front of the viewers while using a camcorder and got a gentle reminder! [msnembarrased][msnembarrased]

We have annual passes. I don't know of any special places we can watch the fireworks. If anyone hears of one please let us know!
The great thing about annual passes is we can have dinner at home then drive out to Epcot and watch the fireworks! Allthough we live about 50 minutes from the parks so on a school night it gets a little late. This time of the year though it's great. It's half empty! (As apposed to half full!)

it doesnt matter where you stand the fireworks are great. been 4 times and never stood in the same place. even last february when it was raining cats and dogs and freezing cold we still enjoyed them.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnwink]

They sometimes reserve the area near the bridge in Italy for AP holders or the rose garden in England. When you get to Epcot go and ask at Guest services because if they are reserving an area you have to get your name down early in the day. As with all things and Disney they change the arrangements frequenly so its always woth asking.

Is there a special area for disabled viewing. I kinda got lost in the thread at the begining. My son qualifies for a disabled pass and we want to know if we can use it at the fireworks?

If he uses a wheelchair then yes there are areas marked on the maps.
