There's just an airport there, right? No, Sanford is a town in its own right with a quaint main street and lots of antique shops and eateries.

Check out what it's got on offer at http://www.discoverourtown.com/TownPage.php?Town=1468#AnchorDining

It's also got a flea market on Friday - Sunday 9am - 5pm at Flea World Hwy. 17-92, Between Orlando & Sanford. It's got all this...

'We sell everything under the sun including new and used clothing, furniture, art, sunglasses, home decor items, yard accessories, Hummel figurines, beanie babies, souvenirs, toys, racing collectibles, leather, citrus, produce, plants, and three great dollar stores.

Antique World: Features 100 antique and collectible type shops.

We have three air conditioned buildings. Two feature antiques, collectibles, hobby and gift items, jewelry and jewelry repairing. The third building is general merchandise and services including barber and beauty salon. Parking and admission are always free and there are 4000 customer parking spaces.

All new merchandise carries a 14 day fair exchange or store credit. Our information booth can help find specific merchandise or vendors. Our Bargain News shopping guide is available at the entrance and throughout the market. Stroller and wheelchairs are available to rent at a minimal charge.'
