Hi I would be gratefull for any info on damage at formosa gardens after frances hit,we are staying there on holiday soon.Thanks.

We are in the Formosa Gardens area and I have not heard of any damage so far.

Thanks Fiona, being next to the lake is a worry when you watch fox news and see the flooding some areas took.
Ivan better not be round three I think florida has had quite enough for now.

I am just across the road from Formosa and can tell you there is no flooding. All the lakes are high and there has been some standing water in one or two roads locally but nothing too bad at all this time.

Hi Kaz

I have place in Formosa, it got off quite lightly, and we back on to the lake as well, my MC has said that it is quite low, and no danger of flooding, there was a home opposite us that had a screen two storeys high, and that has been detroyed, but I would have been surprised if it had survived, it was as big as the house, you will have no worries, and I am sure you will enjoy it there.
