Will be spending Xmas & New year in our villa this year with various family members arriving at different times. The whole gang of 14 Adults and children will be together for New Year though and we'd appreciate any advice on where to go for the evening - we were kinda hoping for a Disney evening in one of the parks, a celebration meal, fireworks etc etc. Any suggestions bearing in mind we do have kids?

Disney is packed. You need to get in early in the morning as when they have capacity, they shut the gates. It is then a very ,long and tiring day till 12 midnight. Queues for rides, no tables at restautants etc. Could be rather fraught with such a big party. What about Cirque du Soleil and a nice meal or a dinner show, followed by one of the many public fireworks displays which are on all over? Or book a meal at one of the Disney hotels and see the fireworks in comfort ( if they still have space).

We are going for New Year too. Any idea where we can find out about the public displays as I do not really fancy the crush of Disney for the day/evening
