View Full Version : Hunchback of Notre Dame closes
This colourful musical show closes its doors after a 5 year run on 28th September this year. Beauty and the Beast re-commences performances 7 days a week ( they were cut back after 9/11) possibly re-deploying some of the redundant cast members.

We found this show really boring so I'm quite glad its going personally!

If you are lucky to be in Florida before the end of this month - this is a "must see" show. Get there in plenty of time as it fills up quickly are my one critiscm would be that there are plenty of "bad seats" with obscured viewing - the design of theatre wasn't great - but also get there early as great pre-show too.
I have heartily disagree that it is boring - myself and my children thought it was wonderful, colourful and fun! I am another who will miss it and can't believe it has been there five years.
Yes, it has indeed. We have seen it four times and though the cast has changed, the pre-show juggler ( who makes jokes about having done a humanities degree and the only useful thing he learned was how to juggle!!) has been there all of that time. Must be facing redundancy now. I really liked the show and the cast was excellent, it must just be that the film is not trendy any more. I just hope that they replace it with something just as good. The source I read did not say what ( except that some of the actors may be re-deployed on extra showings of Beauty and the Beast.)
