There is a Playmobil store in the Florida Mall, if your kids are into it. (my kids are and we had a lot of trouble trying to drag them away from it) It was also good value for money compared with the UK, but we had the problem of transporting it back on the airplane. We did manage some, though! There is another toy store in the Florida Mall, but I can't remember the name. Outside the Florida Mall there is a ToysRUs.:)

Tyson,
Try the Colliseum of Comics ( I know !weird name!!). Its right from Walmart along the 192, past the Kissimmee Town intersection and just over the railroad track. Its in a small mall on the right hand side. Very helpful staff.Good selection of toys.

Has FAO closed down completely. I had heard that they have been taken over by another chain and would be reopening.

It would be a shame to loose the teddy from I-Drive.

I am afraid that FAO has completely gone.

A new company has begun buying the rights to the company, so the name and stores may be resurrected, but the Orlando shop is one of many that have suffered in the original kull.

Hopefully it will have new life breathed into it. I don't know about many other OV forum contributors, but without FAO I don't know how often we would visit PO. Comments pleases.

I agree, we went there this time having been to Wonderworks, I knew the shop had closed, but when my son saw the doll he thought it was still open, we didn't look at anything else just walked through and out mind you we were tired!!

I was gutted to hear FAO had gone. I remember back in 2002 when I went to Florida I was in the shop playing on the Piano that was build into the floor....Gosh I'm a big kid!
