The water in the pool (and jacuzzi if one is available in your rental home) has chemicals in it to make it safe for swimming.

It must not be used to drink, water plants or clean anything!

Please don't use the ordinary home towels to dry yourself off from the pool as this will ruin the towels. If you home owner has left designated towels for the pool, please use these instead. If your rental home doesn't supply pool towels, you will need to take your own for the loungers, etc. Please ask your home owner before you leave home whether you should pack these!

It's also important that you do not walk on the home carpets with feet still wet from the pool as this also marks carpets.

If you are unlucky enough to have a lot of rain you might find the pool skimmer stops working. Contact the management company and they will drain off some of the water and the skimmer should then work again.

We do not supply "pool towels" but do allow use of the normal towels to dry yourself off.

We do ask, as I think many owners do, that you don't take our towels out of the villa to the waterparks etc. Therefore I always suggest you take your own beach towels.

Be careful if you go into the house with wet feet particularly if you are going into an area with tiled floors as it is very easy to slip. This is particularly the case with young children who may run into the house to go to the toilet or get a drink. Also wrap a towel around you as you feel absolutely freezing if you go into air conditioning wringing wet. Really teeth chatteringly so.
We have white towels and we let the guests use them by the pool.
