Just like at home, when you go out please make sure that all the doors and windows are secured. If there's a security alarm installed in your Florida rental home, please use it each time you leave - after all, your belongings are in the home (as well as the owners'). If the security alarm is a monitored one, not only will it be attended to in the unlikely event of an intruder, but it will also be attended to should there be a fire.
