Please help
Driving from Sanford to Southern Dunes, got two routes off Dollar website.
Option 1 is to take the 417 toll road(central Florida Greeneway)
onto I4 then exit 55 onto 27.

Option 2 is to take the I4 then exit 55.

whats the easiest one to drive?

Whats the best one for the kids to see some sites?

Have driven in states before but not for 10yrs,and will be driving at around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, any advice welcome and much appriciated thanx the Marshall Family

Jake,

For ease of driving after a long flight I would recommend the 417 toll road it is much quieter and will give a gentle introduction to the car and American roads.

Hi there will not be much in them distance wise, but the 417 being a toll road you may find the trafic abit lghter until you get your confidence it may be the better option.

Have a great holiday

I always use the 417 to get from the airport to my villa on Southern Dunes - blow the odd $5 or whatever it costs, the traffic is less and the drive less stressful.:D

Have a great holiday and hopefully they'll have got the phones and power sorted out by then.

I also agree that the SR417 is better after a long flight. The total toll could work out to about $3 or less and make sure that you have change in QUARTERS just in case one or more booths are unmanned and have money baskets to throw the change in.

the 528 is a cheaper toll to the I4.
unfortunatley mega road works to the Junction 55.
Take the 58, turn through Champions Gate and get on the 27 before the 55

Tracey......missed the basket - been there done that[:I] Although one trip I really surpassed myself. In our Information Pack for guests we include details of tolls etc and always advise that the exit for Celebration is unmanned - so have quarters ready. Well, one trip....guess who did not have the change for the exit???...correct moi[:I] In the end I jumped out to ask another driver for change of a dollar - when low and behold a pile of quarters on the ground...so red faces spared.:D
Now, when I go through, I leave a couple of quarters on the ground so some other "poor soul" might find it.
See you are not alone;)

Hey! I have been in the quarter Olympics too, thought it was just me; you need gorilla length arms. I look so cool getting out the car to pick up the missed quarter (not)[msncry]
