Hi all

we are taking our 17yr old son out with us over Xmas and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for what to do on the big day.

Being a typical 'Kevin' he just shrugs and says he doesn't mind but since this will probably be his first and last Xmas trip for a while we would like to make it a special one.

We know everywhere will be very busy and that doesn't put us off at all.

Thanks

Blimey CDV, you're one to talk about not sleeping..!! Hope your flights into Ft Myers are OK for thursday, I could try and get you in my case (like the telly advert..)as we go Gatwick - MCO same day.

Rosie, how about a skydiving simulator for 'Kevin'..?

I saw it on tv a while back (a standy up wind-tunnel basically..). Looks good fun.

Our 'Kevin's ' have flown the nest now but certainly know what you mean, there is no pleasing them sometimes !! Do you close on your property CDV when you are out this time ?

My two Kevin's (girls 15 & 19) refuse to go anywhere for Christmas, Have told them they can go to Dave's ski school, water skiing, jet skiing, & being pull around the lake on an inflatable. This is a good 1/2 day out. Don't know if they will be open Christmas Day both my two love it.

Hi Rosie,

Ooooh!! A whole thread devoted to MEEE!!! SuperC-O-O-L!!
Oh ---no it's not
[msnsad]

Difficult to know what to suggest for a 17 yr old. If your "Kevin" is like most 17's he'll probably just be embarrassed to be doing anything with parents!:D

Maybe the parasailing over at Clearwater. At least at that height you won't be able to hear the complaints!!

:D:D

Kevin (Well past 17 - thank goodness!) (In fact well past sell by date!!!)

Awwww. and there was all of us thinking that the T in your name stood for teenager! :D

My 17 year old, although female, isn't embarassed to be seen with us, only squirming if we do something embarassing, such as dance at parties etc! This will be her last big holiday with us I expect, unless she starts to pay for them herself! She would probably enjoy most of the suggestions above...........

Ah but I am an hour ahead but the theads read UK time, so it is not the real time where I am! So when I log on at 8 it is only 7 in the UK and Rosie is up and on by then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the ideas guys, we will try and fit in as much as we can this time as hopefully he won't want to come with us again on his own. We were quite happy for him to bring a friend but none of them can get time off work. Oh well he'll have to suffer wandering round with the old bids, and the chance to embaress him is too good to miss :D;):D
