We went for 2 weeks in Oct 2002 (and back this October!! Yippee!!)

Anyway, we did, Disney, & the waterparks, Universal & IOA, Sea World & Discovery Cove. Was shattering! However, this year, we have got Disney tickets again, as we didn't see everything before, (and when we went to MGM they had a dreadful storm, so we missed a lot!), and have booked 2 x 2 day trips to Miami & Bahamas, & the Keys with gator & snake farm, airboat ride & dolphin swim........ So, we'll be pretty busy again, however, we do want to try and get to Busch Gardens too, oh, and look for a villa!! lol

Last time, we found that the Disney waterparks are great for a lazy day. I relaxed and read my book, while hubby & the kids ran riot in the water and with the activities....... We were staying at a hotel last time though, so no-where to chill out, we had to go somewhere. This time we have our timeshare condo, so at least we can have a day at "home" if we want to. The inclination is to do as much as you can whilst you are there, but the reality is that you KNOW you'll be back, once you've been the once, so you can always do whatever you missed on your next trip!

8 weeks and 1 day...... sigh!

I would suggest 5 or 6 day Hopper plus tickets FROM THIS SITE for the Disney parks. Allow 2 days for Epcot. These passes give you free access to the water Parks. The Universal Flexi might be good value if you are going to Busch Gardens as well, but if you cannot fit that in the schedule, it might be better to buy a 2-day/2-park ticket for Universal/IoA and separate Sea World tickets.

Hi first time I went was in June 2001 loved it so much went back 6 months later and have now brought a place. So be careful!!! Be prepared to dodge the thundersorms but hey they are great to look at. Just accept that you will not see everything first time around and then book again:D I got the 10 day world ticket first time around as I though it was good value £199 but I wish I would have brought a 5 or 7 day hopper as they never expire and I would have had 2 days left over!

Linda s I done the Miami Bahama getaway in jan 2002 very good but very tiring as you leave early loads of traveling and do not arrive back in florida till early hours so dont plan anything on that day apart from sleep! the hotel in the Bahama's is great better than what we had on I drive. If you get bahama Bill as your guide he is superb.:)
Ps the "Cruise" back is very boring and loads of very very very poor entertainment on board!!!

I'd agree with buying a hopper plus ticket rather than a 10 day world pass. At least if you only use 4 or 5 days you'll be able to use the remaining days in the future as they don't expire (this is what we did and it saved a bit). It was worth paying the extra to get a 7 day hopper rather than a 4 or 5 day hopper. You don't pay that much extra and it means you might only have to buy a single day ticket on your next visit. It is a pity that Universal don't do these types of hopper tickets as I think they'd be better value than the flex tickets. we bought a 4park flex ticket last year which is valid for 14 days and as a result we really overdid it, we felt that we had to use it as often as we could to make the most of it, but in all honesty I was fed up with looking at the parks by the end of it.

Hi

my family and i are off on the 3rd of September for two weeks, we also wanted to do Disney, Universal and Sea world so these are the tickets we ended up going for

Disney 5 day park hopper plus (Includes two days at the water parks)
Universal/IOA two day ticket
Sea World one day ticket

We hope this will allow us to see almost all that we want to and still give us a day off in between parks, we are counting each day at the water parks as a day off. [msnscared]

Cheers

Mack

Tha ladies in my group (and the gentlemen :D) found Orlando Premium Outlets an excellent place to shop all day and have lunch in between in the food court. The new(ish) Mall at Millenia is another, but tends to be a bit more expensive.

The perfect ticket combo is tricky, and depends on the indvidual:)Accept you will barely touch the surface in 2 weeks[8D]and that going back IS an option:D[8D] We buy annunal passes now, because it is economical if you know you will return[msnsmile2][msnsmile]. Certainly, a 5/6 day hopper pass from this site would start you off well!!!:D:)
