Check out this thread where there is lots of advice about what can be taken.

Basically, coffee is fine. Absolutely no meat or fresh fruit. Marmite is ok but not bovril.

They sell great coffee in America, but their tea bags are awful

They are selling pg tea bags in Walamrt on the 192 now so no need to take our own teabags.
I know that tea tastes better in FLORIDA as the water is softer in our villa than back home here .

I am a BIG convert, MAJOR convert to american coffee, as many of the friends on here will know.

I need to shout it. BARNIES COFFEE. best coffee I have tasted. The do flavoured coffee without that sickly sweet syrup stuff

I bring about 9 lbs home everytime I go. Just come back and had 30% off and buy 8 bags and get the 9th free. The shop by the florida mall had a deal on.

although I do take my own tetley decaf bags.

Can you buy Barnies in Walmart etc? Is it instant or filtered? We always try a few jars before we get something we like! Love coffee but like instant. Also drink redbush tea and take that as not sure if i can get it over there.

Wal*mart stock starbucks.

But Public has Barnies coffee, and if you have a petrol station "pix" then they can get a cup of hot coffee,

Luckily I am right next door to a publix with a petrol station. So my first port of call is always the petrol station on the way to the park.

I tend to have a cuppa tea first thing, and no point in putting on a pot of coffee if you are on your way out, but as soon as I get back the coffee goes on.

There are also a couple of barnies stores around, one is opposite the florida mall on the sandlake road, one is up on highway 27, just by a new JC Penney and a cinema, just before the junction to the 50, I hear there is also another one at the Loop shopping complex, but have not been.

You can get whole beans, or they will grind it for you, for filter machine or french press. and dont forget your loyalty card, If you like flavoured coffe, but hate the sugar of the syrup like starbucks you will like this, and get hooked.
