Well I love it but as my home is on Crescent Lakes I would!!!. It is a lovely quiet area but not to far away from the hustle and bustle so you can go out enjoy yourselves through the day and come home and relax by the pool in the evenings. We are out here at the moment and not looking forward to going home.

Have never stayed on Crescent Lakes but have visited friends there. The estate seems to me to be very well kept, quiet and generally very nice.

Crescent Lakes is a bit special - not only do the homes generally have plenty of space in between them but there's lots of community parkland type areas and it's smack dab in an officially designated wildlife conservation area so if you like bird spotting, etc, then this is the place for you!

Just a few minutes from supermarkets, shops, eateries and only 15 mins to Disney, it's an ideal location for some peace and quiet after the parks.

I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time there - don't forget to come back and tell us your trip report!

I might be but every word is the truth, no need to make it up.

Stayed there last time.. the drive to the parks did seem a tad long. As to the area one on the quietest we had ever stayed at.

There are at least three different routes to the parks Nigel so it sounds as if you didn't take the right one!

OK...I guess going right up Poinciana to the 192 was the 'long' way round?

Possibly, especially if you went along the 192.

Yes it would be if you were going along the 192. I used to get to Disney in around 15 minutes.

We never went 'along' the 192. We just crossed it.

So what are the quicker routes?

Just got back from a week staying at Crescent Lakes, really enjoyed it, very quite and well kept neighbourhood. Might not be the most centrally located place you could stay at but we knew that before we went. Took about 20mins to get to the 192 for Chilis and Cracker Barrel and 30mins to Boggy Creek. Universal was about 40mins, don't know if there was any faster ways as I just followed the sat nav, not really bothered how long it takes to get anywhere when I'm on vacation.
