Im a casino manager from England. my family and i are going to Florida for 3 weeks in july. are there any casino's in florida?

You will find a casino in Tampa the Hard Rock hotel and casino, there is also one down alligator alley not sure exactley where it was on the indian reservation side of the everglades, as well there used to be the sun cruz casino ships going out of fort lauderdale, not sure if they are still going. I did hear a rumour they stopped, but not sure.

The Miccosukee Indians have a resort and gaming hotel on the Tamiami Trail near the US27 end.

There is also another, larger, Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, near Miami.

If you fancy a few days away, you could drive up to Biloxi in Mississippi (about 8-9 hours from Kissimmee), but there are casinos there, and coupled with the beach, makes it my favourite place for gambling - I prefer it to Las Vegas!!!

Florida law prohibits casinos except on Indian owned land and property, hence the casino cruises.

It will be because the land is owned by the Indian nation, which comes under the Indians own rules/law.

once you get out to sea so far gambling is legal.

i would love to go on this only i get reallllllllllllyyyyyyyy sea sick and i dont think you can gamble in the toilets.........
