| Just arrived home after 2 great weeks, lovely villa with great view of lake, our idea was to just chill out. We took loads of reading material, planning to sit by the pool, which we did on about 4 days the rest of the time it was to cold (we didn't have snow though ). However it did seem a little strange to be sitting in shamu stadium at 5.30pm wearing my coat. I don't care how cold it was I would go back tomorrow if I could, did not want to come home. | Lyn |

| You seem to have had a wonderful time in spite of the unusually chilly weather, Lyn. Glad you enjoyed it, nevertheless. Even if it is a bit chilly, the sunshine makes up for it, and like you, I never want to come back. My children used to cry when we turned the key in the lock of our villa, they hated leaving so much. | Ellie

| Last year it was cold in Feb in FL...and for the first time I did not feel silly walking through Orlando airport with fur boots on... They were great for the parks too..it did feel strange wearing fur boots and a t-shirt..it was cold for FL but coming from up north it was not cold enough for me to wear a coat..everyone else was wearing gloves and hats... | Edited by - chrizzy100 on 09 Feb 2009 00:45:04 |

| I spoke to our regular 'Snowbird' yesterday. They have been going to the gulf coast for 8 years and she said that, although it was colder than usual at nights, the days have been lovely with bright sunshine/blue skies so a vast improvement on the weather they left in the UK.

| Last Thursday, was a record cold 'high' temperature on the Gulf Coast for the 5th February - it never got above 56F, coldest for that date since 1966.
Yes the sky is blue, the sun shines all day but the wind has been freezing. | Clare R http://www.orlandovillas.com/villas/1367.aspx
