| Gary, I understand your concern taking your 12 year old out of school but if the school allows it then you might find a lot of benefits for going out of school holiday time (cheaper flights for instance). Weve always taken our kids out of school apart from when it was an important year ie GCSE's and A Levels. They have always learned lots from travelling even at very early ages. You would be surprised how much information they absorb when visiting Florida because everywhere you go there is an element of education attached. I think EPCOT is one big learning experience, you would be amazed at how much they make learning part of the fun you have there. Have a great time planning your trip and ask any question you want on here, even if it sounds daft to you. Theres plenty of free advice here. Gill
