Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had picked up an alamo midsize from Orlando International lately, and what it was?? Its listed as being an Chevrolet Equinox or similar and I was curious to know what the current line up is, as I am a bit of a geek like that and want to know what I could be driving (its the longest time we stand still, whilst I choose the car, but havent been out for a while and this is my first time driving!) Many Thanks.

We had a Toyota Rav4 - loads of space for luggage.
Most of the cars in the line-up were RAV4s, with the odd Kia (same size as RAV4 but can't remember the name) and one or two JEEPs which looked a lot bigger than the RAV4. Having not driven a midsize SUV before we choice the RAV4, which was fine for 2 of us. On one or two trips out we had 4 adults and a baby inside and this was a bit of a squash, so if the choice is the same next time I'd pick the jeep.

We have a midsize SUV with Thrifty from Tampa and it is a Ford Edge. Room for 4 large cases in the back and some space to squeeze more after our day at the outlets

Hi,
We hired an Equinox from Alimo in May. It is a good car. I posted photos of it in this car hire section at the beginning of June. You can search back and take a look.
I am using my phone to post this or I would have found a link for you.

We booked an Alamo Mid size SUV from Sanford earlier this year. Supposed to be a Chevvy Equinox, but Alamo admitted they didn't have any left and after trying to talk us into a Minivan, they
eventually brought us a Toyota Highlander (which is normally their Standard SUV range).
The Highlander is a nice size with a fair bit of room behind the rear seats for 3 or 4 good size suitcases.
During our stay, I didn't see very many Equinox's on the roads so perhaps they were just building up their fleet. It does look to be a nice car.

I was watching a show on Florida the other day on Sky Two or Three i think.

They did a car rental thingy and i noticed that Alamo had alot of Chevvy's, Kia and Toyota's as there cars.

They seemed to have loads and loads Chevvy's in the Full Size section!!

We are looking for a larger size SUV to take five of us and most probably five cases. Any views?
