There is another way of getting a "deal"

I have a credit card with one of the high street travel agents which works likes this

1% in points for any purchase worldwide
2% in points for any purchase from them including currency and no charges

Using it abroad has no fees like the nationwide & post office cards

These points can be used to buy anything with them incl. things like airport parking

Plus negotiated a better discount with them than Virgin Holidays 5% online deal. plus a defererred deposit arrangement which using previous points meant all I handed over to book was a tenner

All added up it makes for a fair saving

Hi, I've booked for June 2009 with Virgin from Manchester for £360 for 2 weeks. I didn't think that was a bad price for the summer.
