| Has anyone else got serious Florida withdrawal? I came back from my last holiday september 20th 2007 and dont go back until august 2009. Im feeling very depressed as i really wanted to go back this year I keep reminding myself that in 2009 there will be so many new things to try though so thats the one advantage - aquatica, simpsons ride, the rides scheduled for 2009 opening (Hollywood rip, ride rockit at Universal Studios and Manta at Seaworld)
I'd love to hear everyones favourite parts of Florida holidaying - favourite memories, restaraunts, parks, rides etc, holiday traditions, favourite places and the likes? | | Report this post to a moderator |

| think this is why i feel life is passing us by so quickly! cannot wait to go back and we're lucky enough to go again in 7 weeks or just under...... but whilst we're waiting we often think of favourite places and things we have done and what we would like to do again next trip..... we love old town the live band, dancing, and shopping, spent a tidy bit in the dog/cat shop.... some fun stuff for our new puppy (who will be one tomorrow) we make a point of standing there watching am sure the main lady there recognises us!! we did boggy creek airboat ride last time and really want to go there again it wa\s so beautiful, but maybe a longer ride? we really want to try the seascreamer over at clearwater..... watching for dolphins..... this next trip we are going to doscovery cove for the first time as its our daughters 13th birthday she doesnt know this yet so hopefully she will have a wonderful time well we all will, i just love sites like this one so we can all share such happy times and enjoy opthers trips till we're fortunate to go once again xxx | Liesa | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| For us it is about enjoying everything that Florida offers as a family. We enjoy all kinds of holidays to the med and in the UK. However our boys at some point will say "We are bored" or go off and do their own things for a day or two with new found freinds. In Florida things just seem so different we even all go shopping together which is very rare !! Then of course there are all the attraction which are plentiful. Our only problem is trying to fit in as much as possible in the 2 weeks we mormally spend out there that we need another holiday on our return to recover. The other major plus for us is hiring some of the wonderful homes out there. These offer so much more space to relax in and make the holiday so much more like home in the sun than a hotel can ever do. | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| I love thinking back to our first time in Florida fifteen years ago. I do so miss those days. Guys please enjoy your days with your youngsters cos you really miss them when they grow up. The laughs on the rides, getting soaked doing things you wouldn't dream of doing here in the UK. Enjoy...enjoy...enjoy...at least I have happy memories.

| quote: [i]The very favourite memory was a day we spent in this park after my two daughters were treated to a Princess Makeover at DTD Bibbity Bobbity Boutique at the end of a wonderful day they were asked to join in the parade.
Know exactly what you mean Paula; this was 2 weeks ago

Also we took a boat out on the Gulf around Boca Grande and Sabrina was thrilled to feed the dolphins that came and swam around the boat( not great photos. )

| I love to get to Florida and sit in the sunshine eating a leisurely lunch either by the lakes, marinas or people watching. I love trying new activities that we have learnt about through this site and generally relaxing - it seems that all our troubles melt away.
Of course, that is inbetween going shopping for my beloved shoes or having a stroll around the garden centres. | Mary
