AAww Fiona, she is soooo cute and adorable. I am not at all surprised you just had to get another dog, its so hard when we lose them. I am sure Sadie will get along fine with Millie and the cats, you will have some good fun in the next few weeks.

Well we brought her home from Lincolnshire this afternoon, got back early evening and she is fast asleep under the kitchen table by my feet. She is very keen to loooooooove Millie who is not sure at all! The cats are VERY unhappy and spending their time up high!!! She has explored the front and back garden and the kitchen and utility and seems very happy, but we do have the night to get through.

Karen you need have no fear we will be taking loads of pics and of course I will post some more and bore you all!!

Regarding showing, this is not something we have ever done, but the breeder has told me I have the best dog of the litter and she thinks she could be show quality. We are going to get her hips checked when she is 12 months old as we may let her have puppies, but not sure if I have the time to devote to showing.

We carefully made her a bed out of a large cardboard box with towels and sheets and plastic underneath, she has been in once but I suspect it is going to be a waste of time! Her bed arrives at the pet shop Mon / Tues is one of these large washable ones that any of the animals can use, although something tells me it may only be the cats!

Have fun Fiona, which I am certain you will with already having another dog and cats too. It is good that she is show dog material but it is a lot of hard work so I can understand that you may not go along those lines. Might be a good option with letting her have puppies though if she is a good pedigree and worthy of showing.

Good luck and looking forward to seeing some more photos of Sadie and the gang.
