Hi folks I wonder if anyone can help?

I would like a parcel delivered to me while on holiday but after speaking with the villa owner I see this could be a problem.

There is no post box for the villa and she has said in the past there have been problems with the mail man not even stopping and just returning the item to sender.

Can I have the parcel delivered to a post office for collection or to a company for collection? I see the usps, do post office boxes but they are really expensive if you want anything much bigger than a letter held.

Does anyone here use such a service?

Thanks

JohnA

Ask your owner if their MC would accept a parcel on your behalf, there could be a small charge for this but if you are saving a lot of money it may be worthwhile.
It also depends who the parcel would be couried with. We have no post box, but DHL deliver with out any problems.

If you have it delivered by someone like Fed Ex or UPS they may deliver it to the villa but you may have to wait in all day.

We had a coffee maker we wanted to be delivered to our villa but have no mail box so we saked our MC and they put in the villa for us on our next visit to the villa ,
As said before may be the villa owner can arrange it with their MC and you pay them for taking it in for you .

I would suggest the same as everyone else, see if the Management Company would allow it to be delivered there.

We had our coffee maker delivered to our MC too - Senseo by any chance?

Usually, you get a tracking number whenever a parcel is going to be delivered, so you would know which day it was going to b delivered on.

I had a UPS parcel delivered when I was last in Florida and you can track its journey aross the USA in and out of the various depots along the way. As long as it is not a signed for package, then they will just leave it in the porch

UPS actually left a package in the front porch even though it was a signed for, we found it in the porchway when we got back from a day out.

Does the development you are staying on have a clubhouse? If so, maybe the parcel could go there?
