| Water Parks, state parks, Meadow Petting Farm, Fantasy of Flight, Horse World, Seaworld, Discovery Cove, Hommasassa Springs, Cypress Gardens, The list in the area is endless but I do agree with Paula, you don't need to like funfairs to enjoy all that the Orlando theme parks, especially Disney, have to offer. If you have rented one of the fabulous villas from the sites listed above, you have the added bonus of a private pool which the children can enjoy. | Angela http://www.orlandovillas.com/florida-vacation-rental-2066.aspx

| Depending on the ages of the childrens Kissimmee Lakefront park is good for younger children, Vans Skate park for teenagers.
There are many State parks, beaches. I would definitely say Sea World and again maybe Kennedy Space Centre for around 8 upwards.
There is an Orlando Childrens science museum if you google it youll get directions. The Tampa bay aquarium if you visit that area. If they like animals then Animal Kingdom has lots of shows and exhibits as well with not so many rides. Most of the Disney parks have so many shows that even non riders like my husband enjoy them. If you give us aidea of their ages then it might be easier to give a bit more detail. | Babblin Boo http://www.orlandovillas.com/villas/92.aspx

| I dont think you could ever call any Disney park as a funfair ,its more an experience ,there is Animal Kingdom where the the childrens can learn everything there is about animals , Epcot is all about different lands so there is much more educational things than rides .
The only true FUNFAIR that I now of is in Oldtown , anything else in Florida is suitible for children of all ages . | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| | I don't like the thrill rides but love Florida as it is so much more than rides. When we went a few years ago my youngest was 17 months old and I didn't think she would get that much out of it. But Disney is very visual and the shows are superb. She loved it. This time we are going to Boggy Creek on the airboats and last time we went to Gatorland which was quite good. | | Report this post to a moderator | goto top of page |

| I hate fun fairs but love the Orlando parks.
They are a different experience altogether with something for everyone.
We took a friend with us one year who said he did not want to do the parks.Fair enough, there is more than enough elsewhere to engage him. He then decided towards the end of his holiday that he had better go once.He thought that the safari at AK was worth the ticket alone but by the end of the day said it was one of the best days of his life (we did the highlights of all 4 parks in the day) He did not do on amy coasters but they are only a small part of any of the parks.
So do please do a sample day at Disney and Sea World or Universal and you will be a convert. | Heather

| How about Seaworld and all the water shows, they are fun, entertaining as well as educational. No way can you compare them to a funfair with all the parades, shows and little touches such as moving, talking trees!! I believe you have to experience it, and the fabulous atmosphere, before they decide. There are still hundreds of other things to do too, ENJOY | Jocelyn And Alistair
